Jennifer Hudson May Perform at Barack Obama's Inauguration

Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson is being considered to perform at Barack Obama's inauguration on January 20th. Hudson has had a horrifying past few months, as her mother, brother and young nephew were murdered. Her sister's estranged husband is in custody for the crimes.
A source close to Jennifer Hudson has said that the Oscar winner may perform the Star Spangled Banner at Barack Obama's inauguration on January 20th.
"Organizers want Jennifer to sing 'The Star-Spangled Banner' at the Inauguration on Jan. 20. They are talking to Jennifer about it. It would be the first time she performed since the murders. She is from Chicago and a huge Obama supporter," an insider said.
This will be Hudson's first public performance since her tragedy.
