Jennifer Hudson appeared on Oprah on Friday to solidify a successful comeback after her recent family tragedy.

"I'm just glad to be back and be back to work again. Just doing what I love to do is like therapy," Hudson said.

Hudson, whose mother, brother and 7-year-old nephew were murdered last October told Winfrey, "I'm in a very good place."

Hudson performed her latest single, "If This Isn't Love." She will be embarking on a tour beginning March 31.
