Jessica Simpson American Idol Judge?

Jessica Simpson might be getting a career boost, with rumors circulating that she is on the list for potential judges to replace Paula Abdul. This would be huge for Simpson, who has had a lot of bad luck lately. After being booed after forgetting the lyrics to her songs, being dumped by Tono Romo and being mocked by the media for her weight gain – something good has to finally happen for this girl.

The New York Post is claiming that Papa Joe Simpson has been pushing for his daughter to replace Abdul on American Idol. However, Joe took to his Twitter to deny the story.

Joe said, "So, I am in thailand…But, of course, the post says I am in town trying to get ;ess to be the replacement for paula abdul…Do the lies ever stop????"
