We at Bodog Beat are stumped. We're thinking Joaquin Phoenix's career shift to the next rapping sensation is all one big hoax, but this video of him attacking a heckler at one of his shows looks pretty real.

Phoenix was doing a show last night in Miami at the Fontainebleau hotel's LIV nightclub when a heckler pissed him off. Since Joaquin is now a hardcore, rapping mutherfucker (yo) he said, "I got a million dollars in my fucking bank account; what do you got?" and then proceeded to jump off the stage to open a can of whoop-ass on the dude.

With Casey Affleck on-hand filming the smackdown for Joaquin's documentary, the crowd started chanting "Joaquin, Joaquin" until Phoenix was pulled off the guy by club security. What do you think? A big, phony set-up? Or is Joaquin really a hardcore, rapping mutherfucker?
