It's been a long, crazy ride for Joe Francis, the guy who made millions filming drunk chicks on Spring Break.
Francis sat in jail on criminal charges stemming from a Girls Gone Wild shoot in which he allegedly filmed underage girls in sexual situations. Francis was also in legal limbo due to tax evasion charges. According to the IRS, Francis deducted more than $20 million in false business expenses and stashed more than $15 million in offshore accounts in 2002, 2003. This case could get him 10 years in prison and $500,000 in fines.
Francis agreed to a plea deal today – pleading no contest to the charges of filming underage girls. TMZ reports that Francis will be on six months' "non-reporting" probation, and that Girls Gone Wild can't film in the area for three years.
