John Edwards Admits to Affair

After being caught with his hand in the motel room cookie jar by the National Enquirer, John Edwards is finally owning up to his affair with former staffer, Rielle Hunter. His defense? Well, he didn't really love her so it doesn't technically count, right? A vice presidential nominee with the logic of a horny fourteen-year-old is rad on so many levels.

One thing he is not owning up to however, is that silly old "love baby" thing. TMZ reports that Edwards claims that he is not the father of Hunter's baby girl because of "timing." Also, if you don't love a person, how can you have a love baby? OK, so he didn't say that, he probably thought it.

Edwards has not taken a paternity test and ABC will broadcast all the dirt tonight on Nightline at 11:35 p.m. ET.
