According to People magazine, singer John Mayer left a message for an ex-girlfriend on one of his blogs this morning. Mayer wants an unidentified ex to stop contacting him.

Mayer blogged:

Dear Ex Lover,

Perhaps you didn't understand the last time I told you to stop contacting me, so I'll do my best to spell it out for you. I do not wish to have you in my life anymore. I don't know how much more clear I can be about it. It would serve you best to move on with your life and find someone who can put up with you, because I'm done trying. I hope this is enough closure for you.
Goodbye

Many speculate that Mayer is writing to ex Jessica Simpson, who is now dating Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo. However, Mayer has also recently dated Friday Night Lights actress Minka Kelly and actress Cameron Diaz.

The 30-year-old "Your Body Is A Wonderland" singer prefaced his message by writing, "Don't read too far into this on a personal level… I just thought it sums up how crazy love can be."

Ugh, John Mayer, why don't you just write a sucky song about all of this instead.
