The fat lady has sung for the family show that turned into a messy divorce drama Jon and Kate Plus Eight.
On last night's series finale, TLC definitely let it be known that their relationship with Jon Gosselin has soured and that they play for Team Kate.
"They don't know about girlfriends at all," Kate Gosselin said, referring to Jon's relationship with Hailey Glassman. "That's just too warped for them, too unhealthy for them to know. They learn by watching us, and that's the last thing I want them to know."
"I just think that relationship is a situation that's just a symptom of the real issue, so I don't envision a future there involving my kids at all," Kate said.
There was also a scene that showed the sign that Jon had posted on their property telling TLC cameras that filming was prohibited. They then cut to an interview where Jon talked about how great it was to have a place in Manhattan he could escape to. Yes, Jon's final moment on the show that ran for three years was him being bragging about being able to get away from his family when he gets overwhelmed.
Jon also said, "It's unfortunate that our marriage failed, but our family shouldn't fail. We're gonna have to strive to be the best parents we can whether we're married or not. We're definitely not gonna be married again."
Jon also referenced his recent behavior, admitting that because he was married at 22, "maybe I'm reverting to 23."
"I'm moving forward, I know what I have to do. To become friends with Kate. To continue my relationship with Hailey [Glassman]," he added.
