Actor Jon Voight wrote a scathing critique of Barack Obama and the Democratic Party in the Washington Times on Monday. Angelina Jolie's dad criticized the presidential hopeful's campaign as being full of propaganda and subliminal messages. "The Democratic Party, in its quest for power, has managed a propaganda campaign with subliminal messages, creating a God-like figure in a man who falls short in every way," Voight said.

"The Democrats have targeted young people, knowing how easy it is to bring forth whatever is needed to program their minds," Voight continued, comparing Obama's campaign to "Marxist propaganda underlying the so-called peace movement" of the 1960s.

"Obama has grown up with the teaching of very angry, militant white and black people," Voight theorizes. "The Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Louis Farrakhan, William Ayers and Rev. Michael Pfleger will gain power for their need to demoralize this country and help create a socialist America."

And he's not done there! "If, God forbid, we live to see Mr. Obama as president, we will live through a socialist era that America has not seen before, and out country will be weakened in every way."

As for Voight's daughter, Jolie told Entertainment Weekly, "I think people assume I'm a democrat, but I'm registered independent and I'm still undecided. So I'm looking at [John McCain] as well as Obama."

JOHN VOIGHT IS RIGHT … So, the democratic mutual admiration society, i.e. his highness, Barack Hussein Obama and his democratic cronies met behind closed doors … and, then upon leaving the meeting, graced us with glowing reviews of Obama's humility and his inevitability to win in November. Then, for the umpteenth time, Obama told us how his 6 countries in 9 days photo op, proved how he is now a qualified expert in foreign policy. Then, he refused to acknowledge that the surge worked. Yes … I would call Obama a presumptuous arrogant empty suit, who is being packaged and agressively marketed to the American people. What a grand deception. I urge all Americans … if you really love this country, and you don't want to see it turn into a third world country … make sure you … and everyone you know, vote for Senator John McCain in November!!!

John Voight is right on target. I am 27 and scared to death of this man and the socialist regime he's building. He is a marketing tool, fancy packaging and all. He is not a President.

I am curious as to when Jon Voight became a Republican? Seems to me he was a Democrat back in the 60s. I do know that he supported Rudy Gulliani. In any event, I'm happy to see that Jon thinks for himself and doesn't see the need to bow down with the typical Hollywood crowd.

Mr. Voight comments have an era of racism to it, to say the teachings of Mr. Barack are from militaint white as well as black people are ludacrist.
The only constant in the world is change and for some people change is a frightful event. This country's old guard is about to change if Obama is elected President of the United States. Mr. Voight needs to worry about his relationship with his daughter Angelina Jolie who hasn't allowed Mr. Voight to see his grandchildren.

Jon Voight is an idiot – who cares what he thinks. He needs to make up for being a crappy father hence the reason Angie is such an emotional mess. Again, who cares what a washed up actor thinks??? He sure sounds racist to me.
