Word on the street is that Kanye West might be headed to rehab after his VMA outburst made him one of the most unpopular people on the planet, next to Spencer Pratt and Osama Bin Laden.

Before his outburst, Kanye was seen downing a bottle of Hennessey while acting like a jackass (pictured above) and now various media outlets are reporting that West is blaming alcohol for his jackassery, and that as soon as West wraps his tour with Lady Gaga this January, he’ll be going to rehab. However, West hasn’t blogged about it in all caps, so it might not be true.

According to Star, however, Kanye has been boozing ever since his mother Donda died after receiving a tummy tuck in November 2007. An insider tells the mag, “His drinking is getting worse — and when he has too much, he can be mean and obnoxious. If he doesn’t get help soon, things could really spiral out of control.”
