There is something wrong with the world when someone is forced to pay for their rappin' spouse's divorce attorney. But for Britney Spears, it's just another day in crazytown.

Kevin Federline had the balls to request Spears pay $160,000 in attorney's fees — and the courts awarded him all but $40,000 of it.

The court documents state that Federline is "self-employed as a performing artist" and that "he does not earn any income." Then shouldn't he get a "court-appointed" attorney?

From Spears, Federline currently receives: $15,000 in child support, and also $20,000 a month in spousal support, which expires on November 15. His debut song, "Popozao," earned $3,300 in royalties.
