Last night, Kiefer Sutherland quitely checked into Glendale, Calif. City Jail. The "24" star is currently serving 48 days of jail time for his DUI arrest a few months ago.

The Canadian actor is a multiple DUI-offender with several arrests under his belt. He was originally scheduled to make his jail appearance on Dec. 21, which also happens to be his birthday. Sutherland had also originally asked the courts to split his jail stay into two parts so that production on his show would not be disrupted. However, since the writer's strike, Sutherland has decided to get his time behind bars done early.

Will Sutherland actually stay for 48 hours, or will he be released early like most celebrities?
