We at The Beat love the Beatles. When the American Idol kids sing the Beatles two weeks in a row however… not so much.

Kristy Lee Cook proved she was still at it. Yep, the kid was still fucking up Beatles songs. After last week's horror show, Kristy, who must have been born in a cave and then spent her formative years under a rock, admitted to having never heard the Beatles classic she performed, "You've Got to Hide Your Love Away."

After some rough criticisms, she then told judges to hold on because "I could blow you out of your socks."

Call us, Kristy. We wear socks.

If the rumors that the sweet favorite to win David Archuleta has a tyranical stage father, we at The Beat want to cry for him. Stage parents should be pooped on, then shot.

Archuleta had a rough week last week, forgetting the lyrics but still sustaining his spot in the competition. This week, he sang "The Long and Winding Road" and sounded amazing, hitting all his notes.

Randy Jackson said, "David Archuleta has brought the hotness back."

Simon Cowell said last week was a complete mess; "this week, I thought you were amazing… That was a master class."

Michael Johns hit an unfortunate high note early in "A Day in the Life," but sang the remainder very well. Simon didn't agree with The Beat. He said it was a mess. "You didn't hit the right notes, the song went all over the place."

When Ryan Seacrest called Brooke White "the sweetest person in the world," the world rumbled with resounding gags. Something is sure stinky about "sweet" Brooke. Her "happy happy joy joy" outlook on life must be some sort of evil plot.

Brooke, who was likely riding high from all her praise, thought she was invincible and did weird dance moves during her performance of "Here Comes the Sun."

Simon said, "I thought the performance was terrible… from the horrible dancing to the lack of conviction." White interrupted him telling the audience that it was okay that she was getting a bad critique. Ummm… yeah, we're okay with it Brooke. Whateves. Frak off.

David Cook performed "Day Tripper," which he said was based on a Whitesnake performance from back in the 1970s — interesting that he gave credit to Whitesnake — related to this little incident perhaps?

After rave reviews from Randy and Paula, Simon said, "I don't think that was as good as you thought it was, actually. You looked smug throughout, and I thought the vocoder in the middle was just stupid."
