Lauren Conrad's Clothing Line Tanks

Perhaps her plan to leave her $75K per episode salary on The Hills for bigger and better things may be premature, as Lauren Conrad's clothing line is tanking fast.

Page Six reports, "Some showrooms got a message from her camp saying, 'In light of the economic climate, Lauren has decided to completely rethink her line.' As a result, shipment of the last spring and summer delivery has been canceled, the memo said. Page Six previously reported that the line wasn't moving in stores like Kitson and Bloomingdale's."

Oh yeah, it's the economy's fault. Not the fact that her crap was way overpriced. Or the fact that she doesn't have a fashion degree. In fact, her high school education and the fact that she was fired from Teen Vogue doesn't exactly make her the next cutting edge Dior.

    I think stars like this just bet on the fact that their name is famous enough to take their clothing line all the way and in this case it didn't. She is going to have to work at it and make it better.
