Lindsay Lohan: A-list movie star or petty thief? (AP Images)

Let's say you're a major Hollywood movie star trailed by photographers wherever you go and you decide to steal a very distinct looking $11,000 fur coat. Do you: a) hide it in your closet b) wear it around the house or c) wear it all over town.

Lindsay Lohan opted for choice "C." Not a very smart move as she was forced to return the coat to its owner, Masha Markova, 22, who saw pictures of Lohan wearing her stolen coat in OK magazine.

Markova claims she put the coat in a common bin with other jackets while attending a party for Stavros Niarchos at a club called 10ak. She said that at one point, she was even seated beside Lohan.

When it was time to leave the club, she went to get her coat and realized it had been nabbed. Cut to 3 weeks later — and she's sees her coat splashed in magazine pictorials with none other than Lindsay Lohan sporting it.

Markova's lawyer contacted Lindsay's lawyer and two days later, she got her coat back. It had the stank of LaLohan (i.e. cigarettes, booze, ass), but it was her coat nonetheless.

The Post says: "Still, she wants answers – and Lohan to own up to swiping her coat."

Markova plans to sue Lohan for the three weeks she had the coat for an "unauthorized" rental fee.
