Former One Day at a Time actress Mackenzie Phillips was busted for heroine at LAX on Wednesday morning.
TMZ reports that the 48-year-old was passing through screening in the airport's Terminal 4 when baggies and balloons containing heroin and cocaine were uncovered by officials.
Phillips' first role was in American Graffiti. Her career peaked in the 1970s and '80s during her role of Julie Cooper Horvath on One Day at a Time. She has had a long history of drug abuse.
