According to U.K. newspaper The Times of London, Madonna and her husband Guy Ritchie are in the process of filing for divorce. The "4 Minutes to Save the World" singer reportedly met with British divorce lawyer, Fiona Shackleton, who represented Paul McCartney in his divorce from Heather Mills.

Meanwhile Ritchie, 39, is rumored to "have had dealings with a lesser-known Mayfair law firm, Forsters," according to The Times.

The couple, who has faced rumors of a split since early this year, wed in 2000 and apparently never had a prenup. Lucky for Ritchie, Madonna is reportedly worth an estimated $600 million.

"I had to marry a challenge because otherwise I would just get bored," her "Madgesty" told U.K. Elle earlier this year. "Whatever else Guy is, he's never boring… We're both there to help each other and challenge each other… Sex with Guy is incredible."

The couple have one biological child, Rocco, 7, and one adopted child, David Banda, 21 months, together. Madonna's 11-year-old daughter, Lourdes, is from a previous relationship with Carlos Leon.
