Madonna showed up sans her new boy toy, Jesus Luz, at the Vanity Fair Oscar party last night. OK! magazine had previously reported that Madonna was planning to bring her 22-year-old Brazilian model boyfriend to the Oscars on Sunday and that the two had "spent all week planning their outfits for Oscar night,” and that Madonna was "planning on using the Vanity Fair party to introduce Jesus to the world as her new boyfriend."

However, Madonna arrived solo and flexed for the cameras. She reportedly spent the evening schmoozing with Gwen Stefani, Sheryl Crow and Sacha Baron Cohen. She also told reporters that her ex-husband's Best Actor speech was "amazing."

Madonna has apparently been "smitten" with Luz since posing with him during a W magazine shoot in Rio de Janeiro.
