Madonna to Cash In on Scalper Tickets

Madonna has just signed an endorsement deal with StubHub, where fans buy and sell tickets at inflated prices, that will earn her a piece of scalper pie. Madonna, who will reportedly earn a flat fee, is the first musician to ever make a profit from scalped concert tickets.

"It's the future of the ticketing business," claims StubHub head of business development Chuck La Vallee.

On the upside, fans would still be able to buy and sell tickets on other online marketplaces without being dinged by Madonna — such as TicketsNow and Craigslist.
