Marcia Cross' Husband Tom Mahoney Battles Cancer

Desperate Housewives actress Maria Cross, who recently had fraternal twin girls, is facing a difficult time in the wake of her husband's cancer diagnosis. Cross' husband Tom Mahoney was diagnosed with an undisclosed form of the disease back in January. Cross and Mahoney have been married since June of 2006. Cross has been open with the way she and her husband are dealing with battling the disease in front of their daughters.

Cross said, "I was sort of apprehensive, but we just wanted to make it really normal. We didn’t tell them where they were going in case we had to change plans, but they came in and they were so happy to see him. They just wanted to explore everything. It was great. It’s the best medicine. They don’t know what a
hospital is, they don’t care. It’s just, ‘There’s dad!'"
