Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves Have Baby Boy

Matthew McConaughey's girlfriend model Camila Alves has given birth to the couple's first child, People magazine reports. The yet-to-be-named baby boy was born at 6:22 p.m. on Monday night in Los Angeles, weighing 7 pounds, 4 ounces.

"They're so happy," a source close to the couple told People.

"He'll make a really good dad because he's got a lot of patience," McConaughey's oldest brother Rooster also said. "I'm excited for him. It's about time."

The Fool's Gold actor, who announced his girlfriend's pregnancy on his website, writing, "Camila and I made a baby together… We are stoked and wowed," once hinted that he wanted to name his baby Bud after his favorite beer. Let's hope that didn't happen.
