Who knew John McCain and Barack Obama were so funny? Sure, they may just have funny writers, but they did have the comic timing a delivery down like pros. McCain and Obama roasted each other at the 63rd annual Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation Dinner, a charity event organized by the Catholic Archdiocese of New York for the benefit of needy children.

At one point, Obama joked that you could see the Russian Tea Room from the Waldorf Astoria Hotel.

For his part, McCain made said, "Even in this room full of proud Manhattan Democrats, I can't shake the feeling that some people here are pulling for me." He added, "I'm delighted to see you here tonight, Hillary."
