With the success of "Apocalypto" and as the world still reels from his anti-Semitic drunken ramblings, Mel Gibson continues to ride his ever-turbulent career roller coaster, hard. To add more fuel to his blazing inferno, Mel Gibson is now being accused of having a secret love child. A woman, Marilyn, claims that she was hitchhiking in Australia in 1976, when a young man with a striking set of baby blues pulled up and offered her the ride of her life. A romp in the back-seat later, found Marilyn alone and pregnant, as her blue-eyed beau had sped off into the sunset for good.

Eight years later Marilyn became reaacquainted with her one-night-lover in a strange way. "I saw a poster for 'Mad Max 3′ by chance and I was absolutely staggered to see that it was Mel. I had to ask friends about the previous 'Mad Max' movies and I rented them all."

Now, the love child, twenty-nine-year-old Carmel Sloane, will serve Mel legal papers this week requesting he take a paternity test. Carmel Sloane told News of the World, "I'm not looking for a meal ticket…I would love to meet him but I wouldn't expect to be part of his life…I would like him to know he has a grandson who is a great kid."
