Michelle Williams to Make Heath Ledger Film

Since the tragic death of actor Heath Ledger, the mother of his child, Michelle Williams has remained relatively private. However, reports are emerging that the actress is making a movie about Ledger so that their two-year-old daughter, Matilda Rose, will have something to remember her father by.

A source said: "This is incredibly important for Michelle to do. It makes Michelle’s heart ache that Matilda was so young when Heath died and she’s unlikely to retain any memories of her father. She wants to keep his spirit alive with something Matilda can treasure all her life."

The couple met on the set of Brokeback Mountain in 2004. Ledger and Williams split in 2007.
