The 2007 MTV Video Music Awards were held Sunday night in fabulous Las Vegas, Nev. in an attempt to garner more viewers and make it a party y'all.

With the focus more on performances than awards, viewers got to see Justin Timberlake, Kanye West, and Rihanna, as well as Timbaland, Fall Out Boy, Chris Brown, Lily Allen and the Foo Fighters perform on various stages and venues throughout the Palms Casino Resort.

Justin Timberlake took home two major awards in the first hour of the awards, winning the first Quadruple Threat trophy and Male Artist of the Year.

Also picking up awards at the show were Beyonce for Most Earth-Shattering Collaboration for the song "Beautiful Liar" with Shakira, and Rihanna forMonster Single of the Year for "Umbrella."

Fergie was named Female Artist of the Year but was a surprising no-show to accept it.

Fall Out Boy were named Best Group and Gym Class Heroes were awarded Best New Artist, the only category voted on by fans.
