In sad news, actress Natasha Richardson succumbed to her injuries after a ski accident in Canada.

Richardson, who has been married to actor Liam Neeson since 1994, was on a beginner run at Quebec, Canada's Mont Tremblant ski resort. During a ski lesson, Richardson fell and tumbled down the slope. When ski patrollers got to her she was conscious and making jokes. However, just an hour later she was rushed to the hospital after she complained of a headache and was apparently suffering from severe brain swelling.

TMZ reports that NYC columnist, Liz Smith, who they say, "has extremely close ties to the whole Broadway scene" says that as of 1:30 PM ET today, Richardson was taken off life support.

Richardson is survived by Neeson and their two sons.

While I wouldn't be surprised if she has in fact died, maybe you should wait for confirmation before reporting that she has. Removed from life support is not the same as dead, and she could hang on for days.
