After years of hanging out in oblivion Kathie Lee Gifford was finally given a second chance via NBC's The Today Show. Now however, the New York Times is claiming that no one likes Kathie Lee Gifford. And they've even go so far as to interview annoyed viewers to prove it.

Four months ago, Gifford joined the Today Show team to host an additional hour. Although ratings have declined from 1.9 to 1.7 million since she joined, the network argues that the drop is seasonal, a function of the summer and not due to her "colorful" personality.

The Times begged to differ by interviewing women who had filled up a Televisionwithoutpity message board with Anti-Gifford sentiments.

"Every time that fourth hour comes on, I can literally feel my body temperature rising," 47-year-old Gina Maria Croci told the paper. “The way she always talks over poor Hoda and the guests and is just constantly talking about herself.”
