Oprah Tries to Move Closer to Barack Obama

Oprah Winfrey is reportedly trying to sidle up to President-elect Barack Obama in every way she can – and her next strategy involves a move to Washington D.C.

According to the New York Post, Oprah is considering buying a 9-bedroom mansion in the Georgetown neighborhood with a price tag of $49 million. You can check out the swank digs here.

Apparently, Oprah wants the President on-hand so that she can have easy access to him, should she need to speak with him about "needful issues." Apparently, Oprah didn't get the memo that Obama is the President of the United States – not a member of her entourage.
