After Orlando Bloom fractured the neck of celebrity stylist, Cher Coulter, when he crashed a '03 Toyota Matrix into a parked Porsche Cayenne, Bloom walked away from the scene, leaving two injured women in the car. Paparazzi followed Bloom and advised him to return to the accident scene, which he did.

Police initially claimed that Bloom was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol and that he was cut off by another car. However, thanks to the paparazzi footage, Bloom is now being investigated by the LAPD for possible hit-and-run charges.

As to why Bloom was not given a field sobriety test, detectives told TMZ that even if an officer saw "minor objective symptoms" of intoxication, it's still a subjective judgment call.

The LAPD now says that an investigation is open and active.
