Last night, the Academy Awards offered all the glitz, glamor and arse kissing between actors we the viewers were looking for. It was "old Hollywood" theme last night – or so it seemed, as there were many muted colors and classic lines. There were no huge Oscar fashion misses (although Tilda Swinton always has this "I could keel over at any second" look), but there were a lot of Oscar fashion hits. Oh yeah, Sarah Jessica Parker looked like a cupcake.

Natalie Portman was the most stunning of the evening, sporting a lilac Rodarte gown. Best Actress Oscar winner Kate Winslet hit the mark in a simple but classic Atelier Yves Saint Laurent dress by Stefano Pilati. Anglelina Jolie did a simple look this year – in a plain, black, heart-shaped strapless Elie Saab couture gown. She dressed it up with giant green bling.

Halle Berry looked absolutely immaculate in a beautiful black and gold beaded Marchesa gown. Reese Witherspoon, Anne Hathaway, Tina Fey and Jessica Biel also stood out.
