Paris Hilton Has Special Needs: Jail Sentence Reduced

Oddsmakers are in a frenzy since it was announced that Paris Hilton will serve half her time at a special needs housing unit at the Century Regional Detention Center in suburban Lynwood, California. Los Angeles County sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore noted that several factors resulted in the jail sentence cut, including showing up on time for her latest court date. Wow, she's a regular Mother Teresa.
Hilton will stay in a unit of the Century Regional Detention Center that contains 12 two-person cells that is reserved for high-profile inmates such as police officers, public officials, celebrities and Robert Downey Jr. Heh. Paris Hilton's day will consist of at least one hour outside of her cell to shower, watch television, talk on the telephone, or participate in outdoor recreation. Hilton is to report to jail by June 5th.
