Paula Abdul Wants Off American Idol

On the heels of some serious tragic drama which went down earlier this week, Paula Abdul has had enough of American Idol – the show that basically took her off career life support.

OK! reports that Paula wants to foucs on various TV projects rather than Idol and that she has a "she’s got a new secret venture that she’s really excited about.”

However, other reports cite that the new judge, Kara DioGuardi, was hired to push Paula out.  The new season of American Idol starts January 13. Will you be watching?
