America's least favorite scoundrel, Peter Cook, is saying that contrary to recent reports, Christie Brinkley never filed a temporary restraining order against him.

"There was no temporary restraining order issued against [me]," Cook told Us magazine. "Ms. Brinkley sought to suspend my parenting time with our children for this weekend, and her motion was denied."

After Cook blabbed to Barbara Walters about the couple's troubled marriage, Brinkley feared her two children could be negatively impacted and wanted them to remain with her. The 20/20 episode featuring Cook airs this Friday.

Cook's attorney, James Winkler said, "had no intention of exposing the children to this interview and would be happy to take them away for the weekend if that would make Ms. Brinkley more comfortable - so that's what he's doing."
