In breaking news, two police chiefs have been arrested for hatching a plan to break into the Martins Ferry, Ohio home of Sarah Jessica Parker's surrogate last month. The cops planned to sell audio messages left by Parker as well as obtain photos from inside the house to show the living conditions and sell them to a tabloid reporter.
TMZ names the suspects as Martins Ferry Police Chief Barry Carpenter and Bridgeport Police Chief Chad Dojack. Bruce Callarik, the son of Bridgeport's mayor was also arrested in connection with the case. All three were booked last night, though it's unclear at the moment what charges they will face.
Police Chief Barry Carpenter told WTOV, "I'm 100% innocent in this and my department is as well."
