Remember when there was all this fuss going around about whether or not Ricky Martin was gay? Well, he still might be, but the Latin singer just welcomed twin baby boys through a surrogate mother, reports the Associated Press.

"The children, delivered via gestational surrogacy, are healthy and already under Ricky's full-time care," Martin's rep said. "Ricky is elated to begin this new chapter in his life as a parents and will be spending the remainder of the year out of the public spotlight in order to spend time with his children."

No further details like the mother's name or the babies' names have been revealed. However, when the 36-year-old "Livin' La Vida Loca" singer was asked about his sexuality by Barbara Walters in 2005, Martin responded, "I think that sexuality is something that each individual should deal with in their own way. And that's all I have to say about that."
