Robert Redford Engaged to Sibylle Szaggers

Actor and director Robert Redford is engaged to his long-time German girlfriend, Sibylle Szaggars. The couple has been dating since 1996.

Redford reportedly told German magazine Bunte, "We are engaged and very happy with that. Sibylle is my fiancee and that says everything, doesn't it?"

Redford has been married once before to Lola Van Wagenen, who dropped out of college to marry Redford in 1958. The couple divorced in 1985, which Redford kept a secret from the media for 10 years.

Szaggars is an artist who lives with Redford at his 5,500-acre eco-friendly ranch in Utah and at his nearby mountain resort of Sundance.
