Ryan Seacrest Bit by a Shark

American Idol host Ryan Seacrest was reportedly bit by a shark this weekend. The 33-year-old radio and TV personality decided to take a dip at the beach when he was attacked, according to US magazine.

"I was bit by a shark!" Seacrest said. "I thought it was a stick. I wasn't sure what had happened.

"I saw it swim! He took a bit and he left."

Seacrest also said that the shark's tooth "wasn't a great thing to find. It was like finding a splinter!"

However, Seacrest did not suffer any major injuries from the shark bite and was back on air this morning. When asked whether anyone else at the beach was bitten, Seacrest said, "No, just me, of course! There were like 1,000 people in the ocean, and I get bit by the shark!"
