Sarah Palin Ditches Fans at Book Signing

With a crowd chanting "sign our books!" Sarah Palin jumped on her giant Going Rouge tour bus and got the hell out of dodge. Palin was signing copies of her memoir at a Borders in Noblesville, Indiana on Thursday when the fan-ditching occurred.

I'm not sure who is more at fault here – the people in line, who waited over seven hours for Palin to scribble across their $30 books – or Palin, who had promised signatures to 1,000 people (who were given wristbands) then high-tailed it out of there with 300 left to go without explanation.

The scary interesting news is that Going Rogue: An American Life is now one of the top-ranked nonfiction books on the list of first-day sales, with the book selling 300,000 copies on its first day.
