Snake Eats Dog, Family In Australia Needs New Chihuahua

Here's a funny joke: What did the snake say to the Chihuahua? Answer: Nothing, he ate him. In fact, that's what happened in Australia when a huge python devoured a family's dog…while the family watched.

"Actually watching it unfold before your eyes was pretty gut wrenching," father of two Daniel Peric said."We'd had the dog about five years, so it was part of the family."

And now it's part of the food chain.

"These pythons used to feed on wallabies but now they feed on cats and dogs in suburbia," said Australian Venom Zoo owner Stuart Douglas, who's no doubt a hit with the Sheilas. "This python actively stalked their dog."
