For the top sixteen on "So You Think You Can Dance", Debbie Allen ("Fame") joined Mary Murphy and Nigel Lythgoe at the judges' table to judge contestants and plug her dance academy.
Highlights included Lacey Schwimmer (10/1) and Kameron Bink's (11/1) quickstep to "Big And Bad" by Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. Sabra Johnson (15/1) and Dominic Sandoval (14/1) danced the Rumba to "Stickwitu" by Pussycat Dolls. Debbie Allen offered the following thoughtful critque: "Call the fire department! That was hot."
Choreographed by the brilliant Wade Robertson, Jaimie Goodwin (8/1) and Hok Konishi (7/1) danced Jazz to "The Chairman's Waltz" from the "Memoirs of a Geisha" soundtrack. Debbie Allen said "It was brilliant." Nigel Lythgoe called the performance, "one of those routines that we will remember on this series for a very long time."
Jessi Peralta (13/1) and Pasha Kovalev (15/1) were supposed to dance the Cha Cha Cha. However, Jessi Peralta had a pain in her chest and was taken away in an ambulance. Instead of Jessi, Kovalev danced with choreography assistant Melanie.
Nigel Lythgoe said "Let's just clear up what's going to happen here. Jessi is still in the hospital having tests. It didn't go well with the EKG. There is something abnormal about her heart at the moment, and they are doing further tests. Pasha, if you're voted in the bottom three tomorrow, you will be dancing for your life along with Jessi. Whatever happens Jessi is going to be dancing for her life if she's available. If she's unavailable, then I'm afraid she will be cut from the competition."
Will Jessi be dancing for her life after fighting for her life? Lythgoe's sympathy was lacking. Will Hok prevail? Catch the results show tonight on Fox. Bet on So You Think You Can Dance in the Bodog Sportsbook.
