The mega coffee company, whose strategy was to saturate the world with their product by putting a location on every corner, is feeling the adverse effects of an economy going bust.

Faced with a mortgage crises and impending recession, the first thing Americans do when downsizing their lifestyles is cut out the superlatives. And the first thing to go for many people is that $4 morning latte.

Now, Starbucks is announcing the closure of 600 stores in 2009. Stores in Florida and Nevada, particularly in Las Vegas, were most effected by the company's business decision, which will cost the corporation $348 million.

Here is the list of the locations which will be closing.
