"Supernanny" Kid Sets House on Fire

Ahhh… people who rely on reality TV to fix their problems. Gotta love 'em. If you ever thought the "turnaround" aspects of these shows smelled fishy — you'd probably be right. In the case of the hit ABC show (as well as U.K. version) "Supernanny," the kids who were reinvented by the Supernanny haven't exactly become the rehabilitated kids the show often suggests.
After appearing on the U.K. version of the TV show "Supernanny," Paul and Susan Young lost their home to a fire which was started by one of their five boys. Prior to the fire, "Supernanny" Jo Frost attempted to help the Youngs wrangle their five boys, all under age 11. However now the Youngs who are the parents of the three-year-old boy (who had access to fire), are blaming the show. Susan Young said that appearing on the show made the kids behave worse and play up to cameras.
Apparently three-year-old Joel Young started the fire while he was home alone with his mother. According to an Essex police officer, the fire started in the kitchen. As Susan Young attempted to put the fire out, "the little boy went through the dining room and set fire to the curtains," reports the Daily Mail. The family has since moved into a hotel.
