Survivor China Odds: Zhan Hu Loses On Purpose Then Votes Out Aaron

If you can't trust your reality TV show teammates, who can you trust?
That's what gravedigger James Clement had to be asking himself after learning that some of his Zhan Hu comrades had thrown an immunity challenge in hopes that it will win them favor down the road during "Survivor: China". With Zhan Hu down to only four members, it's inevitable that the two tribes will merge. When that happens, Peih-Gee Law and Jaime Dugan want to be able to call in favors.
They'll cite the one due after they purposely lost during Thursday's episode of the hit CBS show. After the immunity challenge, Peih-Gee and Jaime then conspired to vote out Aaron Reisberger, a surfing instructor who was seen as a threat because of his alliances within Fei Long. James, meanwhile, was left to shake his head as he watched the only other reliable and athletic member of Zhan Hu leave. He declared he would rather be voted out than be a part of underhanded actions.
Give Peih-Gee and Jaime credit for one thing. At least they recognized they're no match for Fei Long. This season of Survivor has been a mismatch almost from the beginning. While Fei Long has coalesced as a unit, Zhan Hu has deteriorated because of poor leadership and organization. Losing on purpose isn't only a last resort, it's a sure sign of defeat.
