Susan Boyle is apparently not dealing with her crazy, intense fame very well. If you haven't heard, Boyle shot to mega superstardom after appearing on the British talent show, Britain's Got Talent. People seemed to be in awe that such a beautiful voice could come from a frumpy woman, and thus the unemployed, single woman suddenly became the most talked about person in the world.
Reportedly, Susan has been on the verge of a bit of a meltdown, brought on by nerves for her upcoming performance and her sudden rise to fame.
U.K. tabloid The Sun said Boyle was interviewed by police Wednesday after going "berserk" in the lobby of a London hotel on two strangers. She also threatened to quit the show and packed her bags, only to be talked out of it by judge Piers Morgan.
Morgan told a radio show yesterday, "You could see the nerves almost crippling her on the semifinal show and I just think it's time that everyone slightly backed off."
Boyle also went into a rage after judges praised a performance by 12-year-old Shaheen Jafargholi, her biggest competition on the show. Apparently, she went into a swearing fit backstage. However, the show will go on for Susan Boyle, who released the following statement to Britain's Daily Mail: "I want nothing more than to stay and sing in the Britain's Got Talent final. I've spent weeks rehearsing,"
