Tatum O'Neal, Oscar winning actress and daughter of Ryan O'Neal, was arrested last night after police caught the actress trying to score crack in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. Reportedly, O'Neal pulled the old “Do you know who I am?” bit. Cops weren't biting. She then told the police, "’I'm researching a part – I’m doing this for a part as a junkie."

O'Neal was hauled off to the pokey, along with her drug dealer, Alan Garcia. There are also reports that 44-year-old O'Neal, who was once married to tennis star John McEnroe, had a crack pipe on her.

Tatum O'Neal has had a history of drug problems. She completed a stint in rehab in 1996. O'Neal was the youngest actress to ever win an Oscar for her role in Paper Moon at the age of 10.
