The Dark Knight On Top For Third Consecutive Week

For the third weekend in a row it was The Dark Knight that took home the honors for highest grossing movie.

The second installment of the latest Batman series brought home $43.8M, giving it a monumental $395M total.

Spearheaded by Christian Bale and the late Heath Ledger, The Dark Knight continues to impress long after its release.

Trailing The Dark Knight was Brendan Fraser in The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor at $42.5M.

In third place was Will Ferrell's Step Brothers at $16.3M, while Mamma Mia and Journey to the Center of the Earth round out the top five.
