'The Happening' Another Bomb for M. Night Shyamalan?

Sometimes we at Bodog Beat cheer for M. Night Shyamalan. We really want him to make a good movie for the simple reason that he really wants to make a good movie. Then we see scenes in his movies when he compromises the integrity of the plots by forcing in his stupid cameo — and we remember that he will never recreate the success he enjoyed with The Sixth Sense, no matter how hard he tries. The bottom line is, he should just go lie on a beach somewhere and get over it.

Today, 20th Century Fox released the above two-minute clip of The Happening, which shows not only Shyamalan's excitement for his flick, but also that the film's stars — Mark Whalberg and Zooey Deschanel might be the worst actors on the history of the planet. Seriously. Watch the clip. Dustin Diamond and Heidi Montag would have been a better duo.

    what the heck are you talking about? the film ?? or your personal problem with shyamalan-films? how do you already know that the film is in need of an method actor and not an everybody's face? and i don't know how the cameos and his role in the last movie were stupid. i think it's biased to put a director down who ist often regarded as an egomaniac without knowing him and who is often simply not understood as an artist. time will show.
