The Osbournes are coming back to the small screen, but not in the reality TV genre. The family will be hosting a variety show which is slated to air with a Christmas special on Fox.

The family, which includes Ozzy, Sharon, Jack and Kelly will host the show, which will feature musical performances and comedy sketches. There is also talk of a segment entitled The Osbournes Meet the Osbournes, in which the hosts will spend time with another family named Osbourne.

Mike Darnell, Fox Network's President of Alternative Programming, says, "We've been talking about how to renew the variety show concept and make it feel new for years now."

Currently, Kelly hosts Project Catwalk, which is the British version of Project Runway; Sharon judges the intolerable America's Got Talent and Britain's The X Factor (she did a pretty good job); Jack Osbourne did a show called Jack Osbourne: No Fear where he basically whines about doing scary stuff like sky diving. And the title is a lie — the show needs a more appropriate title like, Jack Osbourne: Big Pussy.
