The Los Angeles Film Critics Association awarded "There Will Be Blood" their Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Actor awards. Based on the 1927 novel "Oil!" by Upton Sinclair, "There Will Be Blood" stars Daniel Day-Lewis as an oil prospector in turn-of-the-century Texas. With a remarkable 100% approval rating on rottentomatoes.com, the movie could be a strong Oscar contender.
