The plot thickens in Tiger Woods' bizarre car accident that occurred on his property yesterday. As we previously reported, Woods was pulling his SUV out of his driveway at about 2:25 a.m. when he backed into a fire hydrant and rammed into a neighbor's tree. Now, TMZ is revealing the juicy details as to why such a brilliant golfer had a difficult time navigating his own driveway.

After the National Enquirer reported that Woods was having an affair with 34-year-old event planner Rachel Uchitel, Woods' wife, Elin Nordegren, confronted him about it. They argued, she scratched up his face, then ironically began chasing him with a golf club. That's when Woods jumped into his car with his irate wife following him. She struck the car a few times, causing him to crash.

Uchitel, the woman at the center of the controversy, says that the affair story is bogus and that although she's met Tiger, they've never had sex. She said that the Enquirer's "sources" lied in order to cash in on the $25,000 payment for the story.

"God forbid Tiger got into a car wreck because of this false report of him having an affair,"  Uchitel, who is described as a "Hampton's Diva" told the New York Post.

"We have never had an affair, talked on the phone or sent any type of text, sexy or not," she added. "I am really upset about it because I am being portrayed as a homewrecker when it simply isn't true."
